Looking to fly from Wichita (ICT) to Melbourne (MEL) June, 2008. Any ideas for a fare around $1000 or less?
Seems like it should not be as expensive as listed on Yahoo travel, Expedia, United, Qantas, et al. The planes are going from Wichita to Denver to Los Angeles to Sydney to Melbourne and back to Wichita whether I am on it or not. How can I get a discounted or cheaper fare than the travel plans rates? There has to be a wholesale rate or something out there, $1500 round trip is quite ridiculous, isn't it? Ideas are welcome, thank you.

I would highly suggest http://www.travade.com and booking it soon. http://www.travade.com is a great and reliable site for cheap airfare internationally especially. Go to advanced search and click on multiple destinations if more than two stops.
